Vitality Empower Physical Therapy is seeking a passionate and dedicated Orthopedic Physical Therapist (PT) to join our esteemed practice in Chula Vista, California. Our facility boasts a state-of-the-art 5000 square feet sports medicine environment designed to support patients in their rehabilitation journeys. We primarily serve individuals with private medical insurance, ensuring that our care options are accessible and tailored to meet the specific needs of each client. Our team currently includes two skilled physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant, all committed to providing exceptional care.

Work Environment

This position is onsite as part of our home care facility, where you will work closely with patients to implement personalized treatment plans that promote healing and enhance mobility. Key Responsibilities

• Assess and identify patients' individual goals and requirements to develop customized treatment plans.
• Manage a focused caseload with one patient per hour, allowing for thorough and personalized treatment sessions.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques effectively to optimize patients' range of motion and mobility.
• Design and implement comprehensive care plans that incorporate diverse treatment techniques tailored to individual needs.
• Motivate patients through their treatment processes, encouraging adherence to prescribed exercises and lifestyle modifications.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care delivery.
• Consistently evaluate treatment outcomes, providing necessary adjustments to care strategies based on patient progress.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care services in accordance with organization standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on orthopedic patients, including those recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions. You will work with a diverse clientele, ranging from active athletes dealing with sports-related injuries to older adults seeking to enhance their mobility and quality of life. Our objective is to minimize reliance on medications and surgical options through effective rehabilitation strategies.

Qualifications

• Possess a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT).
• Hold a valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in California.
• Maintain a clean professional record with no history of disciplinary actions against your license.
• Demonstrate strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the development of exercise protocols.
• Be adept in using EMR software, particularly WebPT, to streamline documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work in home care environments or similar therapeutic settings will be advantageous.
• A strong understanding of evidence-based practices in physical therapy and rehabilitation.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
