Work Environment

Our rehabilitation facility provides an onsite work setting that prioritizes patient care and professional development. You will collaborate with a small team of physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant, fostering an environment of teamwork and shared expertise. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a consistent routine that promotes a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, your responsibilities will include:

• Assessing patients' needs and establishing treatment goals in partnership with them.
• Managing a schedule of one patient per hour, ensuring thorough and attentive care.
• Creating and executing individualized care plans that employ a diverse array of treatment modalities.
• Providing therapeutic exercises and manual therapy techniques to optimize patient recovery.
• Documenting treatment plans, progress notes, and outcomes in a precise manner using EMR software, particularly WebPT.
• Encouraging patient adherence to treatment regimens by motivating them to achieve their functional goals.
• Collaborating closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
• Striving to minimize reliance on medications and needless surgical interventions by promoting effective rehabilitation strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is providing orthopedic care to patients recovering from injuries or surgeries, including conditions like fractures, joint replacements, and sports injuries. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Valid certification as a licensed Physical Therapist in California.
• A clean record with no board actions or disciplinary measures against your license.
• Demonstrated capability in manual therapy techniques that enhance patient outcomes.
• Proficiency in developing and guiding comprehensive exercise regimens tailored to individual patient needs.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with the following qualifications will be at an advantage:

• Prior experience working in orthopedic outpatient settings.
• A background in sports medicine and rehabilitation practices.

Compensation and Benefits
