In this role, you will play a crucial part in helping patients regain their movement and improve their overall functionality. Work Environment

The Physical Therapist will work onsite in our modern outpatient office, which is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and resources designed to facilitate effective rehabilitation and therapy. Our team enjoys a friendly atmosphere, where members support each other in achieving patient care goals. The work schedule runs from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patients' physical conditions to create individualized treatment plans aimed at achieving their rehabilitation goals.
• Maintain a focused patient load of one client per hour to ensure personalized and attentive care.
• Implement effective treatment methods that prioritize mobility improvement while minimizing pain through non-invasive techniques.
• Incorporate a variety of therapeutic modalities and manual therapy skills into treatment sessions.
• Create and adapt fitness and wellness programs based on patients' specific needs and rehabilitation objectives.
• Encourage patients' engagement and progress by offering motivation and guidance throughout their treatment journey.
• Document all treatments and progress efficiently using electronic medical record (EMR) software, including WebPT.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Regularly evaluate treatment efficacy and modify care plans as needed to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Promote a culture of health and wellness by enhancing patient strength, flexibility, coordination, and balance.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily focus on patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and chronic conditions affecting their mobility. Our diverse patient population ranges from active adults to older adults seeking relief from pain and a return to an active lifestyle. Your expertise will be vital in identifying the unique challenges each patient faces and addressing their specific recovery needs.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid license as a Physical Therapist in California.
• Minimum of three years of experience in orthopedic outpatient physical therapy.
• No history of board actions or disciplinary actions against your PT license.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques.
• Strong skills in developing and implementing effective exercise programs tailored to individual patients.
• Proficient in the use of EMR systems, particularly WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in collaborating with a multidisciplinary team for cohesive patient care.
• Knowledge of the latest evidence-based practices in orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Background in developing community outreach programs or wellness initiatives within the physical therapy domain.

Compensation and Benefits
