Work Environment

The position is onsite, allowing you to engage directly with patients in a supportive and collaborative atmosphere. Our facility is equipped with the latest therapy equipment and technology to enhance the rehabilitation experience. As part of a team comprising two other physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA), you will collaborate and share best practices to ensure optimal care delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to understand each patient's goals and needs, tailoring treatment plans accordingly.
• Manage a patient load averaging one patient per hour, ensuring quality and personalized care.
• Utilize various therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy and exercise prescription, to facilitate the recovery process.
• Create and implement individualized treatment plans focusing on improving mobility, strength, flexibility, and overall functional performance.
• Motivate and support patients through their rehabilitation journey, emphasizing the importance of adherence to prescribed therapies.
• Work alongside other healthcare professionals to develop a holistic approach to patient care.
• Document all patient interactions, treatment provided, and outcomes using electronic medical record (EMR) systems like WebPT to ensure continuity of care.
• Regularly assess and monitor treatment outcomes, adjusting therapy as necessary to ensure progress.
• Educate patients and their families on health and wellness principles to promote preventive care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on clients who have private medical insurance, consisting largely of individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries and surgeries. The diverse patient demographic includes athletes, active adults, and those dealing with chronic pain or mobility challenges. You will encounter a wide range of conditions, which will allow you to apply your knowledge and experience meaningfully in each unique situation.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• An active Physical Therapist license to practice in California without any board actions or disciplinary measures.
• Exceptional skills in manual therapy techniques and exercise program design.
• Proficient usage of EMR software, specifically WebPT, to manage patient documentation effectively.

Preferred Experience

Experience in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly desirable, with a strong preference for candidates who have a proven track record of implementing successful rehabilitation programs. Familiarity with innovative treatment modalities and a commitment to continuous professional development will be a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

The successful candidate will enjoy a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 125,000, commensurate with experience.
