In this role, you will be instrumental in guiding patients through their rehabilitation journeys, working closely with them to restore mobility, enhance functionality, and improve their overall quality of life.

Our facility spans 5,000 square feet, providing state-of-the-art equipment and therapy spaces designed for optimum patient care and recovery. We focus primarily on patients covered by private medical insurance, ensuring that we can provide personalized attention while maintaining high standards of service. Our dedicated team currently consists of two skilled physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant, all working collaboratively to achieve outstanding patient outcomes.

Work Environment

This position is fully onsite, allowing you to engage directly with patients in a dynamic orthopedic outpatient setting. Interacting with patients face-to-face fosters strong therapeutic relationships and enhances the effectiveness of treatment plans. Your typical workweek will be Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, affording you a well-structured schedule with weekends off to recharge.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' objectives and requirements through thorough assessments, ensuring tailored treatment plans aimed at restoring mobility.
• Manage a caseload that involves efficient one-on-one patient sessions, typically seeing one patient per hour to focus on individualized care.
• Implement a variety of evidence-based treatments and rehabilitation techniques, focusing on promoting patient independence and reducing reliance on medications.
• Develop comprehensive care plans incorporating diverse methodologies and treatment modalities to support each patient's unique needs.
• Design and adapt fitness and wellness programs that align with the goals of individual patients, focusing on improving strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Motivate and support patients throughout their recovery, fostering a positive environment that encourages active participation in their rehabilitation process.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to optimize care and improve patient outcomes through integrated approaches.
• Regularly assess and monitor treatment effectiveness, maintaining detailed documentation of patient progress and outcomes in compliance with organizational standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic conditions, including post-operative rehabilitation and sports injuries. Our patients are diverse, and our goal is to address each individual's specific health challenges while empowering them to achieve their personal best in movement and function.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required for this position.
• Current and valid license as a Physical Therapist in California with no disciplinary action or board actions on your record.
• Demonstrated competency in manual therapy techniques and a solid background in orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Proficient in developing and implementing effective exercise regimens tailored to patient needs.

Preferred Experience

• Ability to navigate electronic medical record (EMR) systems, specifically WebPT, to ensure precise documentation and streamlined patient care.
• Prior experience in a similar orthopedic outpatient environment is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits

Your compensation will range from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
