Deliver tailored speech therapy sessions emphasizing communication, language acquisition, fluency, voice, and swallowing techniques.

Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals including physical and occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, families, and caregivers to ensure synchronized care plans.

Engage patients and their families in educational discussions to promote ongoing progress outside therapy sessions.

Participate in occasional inpatient assessment and therapy, ensuring a smooth transition of care throughout the patient's recovery process.

Maintain precise and timely patient documentation according to state, federal, and institutional regulations.

Continue to expand your knowledge through professional development opportunities and collaborative networks.

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.

Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) for those yet to achieve ASHA certification.

State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.

Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within 30 days of hire.

Expertise in evidence-based treatment modalities appropriate for all age groups, with a keen understanding of both developmental and acquired speech and swallowing disorders.

Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary care teams.

Competence in adapting therapeutic techniques to meet a diverse array of cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
