Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on thorough patient assessments and goal-setting discussions.
• Utilize a range of evidence-based practices, employing manual therapy techniques and specialized exercise regimens to improve patients' motion and mobility.
• Educate patients on alternative treatment options to minimize reliance on medications and avoid unnecessary surgeries.
• Motivate and empower patients through their rehabilitation journey to optimize their functional abilities and return to daily activities.
• Document all interventions and patient progress accurately and promptly in accordance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to update treatment plans and address patient concerns throughout the therapy process.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, or those dealing with chronic pain. Your expertise in handling musculoskeletal conditions will enable you to develop targeted rehabilitation strategies that enhance recovery while ensuring that each patient feels supported and motivated throughout their treatment.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program; a Master's degree or Doctorate (DPT) is preferred.
• Current certification as a Licensed Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• A clean professional record with no board actions or disciplinary measures against your license.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, preferably in orthopedic therapy.
• Proficiency in creating and implementing effective exercise regimens, with a strong foundation in manual therapy techniques.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in an outpatient physical therapy setting, specifically dealing with orthopedic patients.
• Strong communication skills to effectively educate patients and collaborate with colleagues.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers an attractive salary range of USD 110,000 to 130,000 annually, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
