Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of assigned patients to develop individualized treatment plans that align with their unique needs and rehabilitation goals.
• Deliver skilled, evidence-based physical therapy treatments with a focus on achieving measurable progress and optimal patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians and other healthcare professionals, to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless integration of treatment protocols.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of patient progress, treatment interventions, and health records in compliance with NJ State Practice Act and APTA guidelines.
• Engage in continuous professional development by attending team meetings and participating in staff training sessions to enhance clinical skills and delivery of care.
• Advise and educate patients and their families regarding treatment options, preventive care, and rehabilitation exercises to foster a proactive approach to their health.
• Perform other duties as necessary to ensure a cohesive approach to patient care and support the overall objectives of the rehabilitation center.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our Physical Therapist will work with a diverse patient population that includes pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric clients. The role requires an understanding of age-specific therapeutic needs and the ability to adapt treatment plans accordingly. The focus will be primarily on individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and chronic pain management.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Eligible for licensure as a Physical Therapist in the State of New Jersey.
• A minimum of 2 years of proven experience in providing physical therapy services in a clinical setting.
• Thorough understanding of orthopedic rehabilitation practices and techniques.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with specialized training in manual therapy, sports rehabilitation, or advanced modalities will be viewed favorably. Additionally, proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and a track record of achieving patient satisfaction metrics would enhance a candidate's qualifications.

Compensation and Benefits
