Work Environment

This position operates in an onsite home care setting, where our therapists interact closely with patients in their own environments, enhancing treatment effectiveness and comfort. The hours for this role are Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a balanced work schedule that allows for professional and personal time. Key Responsibilities

• Perform all duties while upholding the organization's core values and ethical principles.
• Adhere rigorously to the New Jersey State Practice Act and any relevant regulatory guidelines.
• Demonstrate professionalism in line with the American Physical Therapy Association's Code of Ethics.
• Evaluate assigned patients to establish individualized treatment goals and develop effective treatment programs.
• Deliver comprehensive, goal-oriented patient treatment aimed at maximizing rehabilitation outcomes.
• Coordinate with other healthcare professionals and community resources to ensure an integrated approach to patient care.
• Complete other duties as necessary to enhance operations or patient service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Rethink Counseling Center, you will work with a varied patient population—including pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric clients. You will address a range of conditions focusing on orthopedic rehabilitation, balancing your treatment methods to meet the specific needs of each age group. Your ability to assess and interpret diverse patient data and issues will be essential in tailoring treatment plans and achieving desired recovery outcomes.

Qualifications

• Possess a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited educational program.
• Hold a current and valid licensure in the State of New Jersey to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience delivering effective physical therapy services.
• Strong background in orthopedic rehabilitation with a proven ability to implement tailored therapy programs.
• Exceptional communication skills to effectively convey treatment plans, collaborate with team members, and support patients through their recovery journey.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with home care settings or a strong understanding of the unique challenges and rewards associated with delivering therapy in patients' homes.
• Familiarity with the latest methodologies and technologies in physical therapy, including but not limited to therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and rehabilitation equipment.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this full-time position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
