Work Environment

You will be working predominantly onsite within our well-equipped rehabilitation facility. Our team collaborates in a positive and professional environment from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, providing flexibility and fostering teamwork among healthcare professionals. With state-of-the-art equipment and facilities, our center is structured to help you deliver the highest quality of care to our patients in a friendly and supportive setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations for patients upon intake, analyzing their specific needs, and establishing individualized treatment goals.
• Design and implement tailored physical therapy programs that address the rehabilitation requirements of each patient while complying with the New Jersey State Practice Act and relevant regulatory guidelines.
• Deliver goal-directed therapy sessions to maximize patient recovery, employing various techniques and therapeutic modalities that suit each patient's unique situation.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families to educate them on the treatment process, expected outcomes, and any necessary home-care techniques.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers to coordinate care and ensure comprehensive treatment plans are in place.
• Document patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans as needed, and preparing reports for review by fellow practitioners.
• Participate in continuing education initiatives and training sessions, staying informed on the latest evidence-based practices in physical therapy.
• Uphold the ethical standards outlined by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) in every interaction and treatment.
• Perform additional duties as requested by the management team to ensure smooth clinic operations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Rethink Counseling Center, you will engage with a diverse patient population that includes pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric individuals. Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure in the State of New Jersey to practice as a Physical Therapist.

• Demonstrated expertise in orthopedic physical rehabilitation and familiarity with various therapy modalities.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages and backgrounds, understanding their unique needs and adapting treatments accordingly.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a rehabilitation facility focusing on orthopedic cases is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of the latest advancements in physical therapy techniques and methodologies.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, vision insurance, and paid time off.
