Patient Service Coordinator II

Job Summary Provides front line administrative support within a Med Peds primary care practice, supporting both pediatric and adult patient populations. Responsible for managing patient scheduling, check‑in and check‑out workflows, and handling high volume phone communication to ensure timely access to care. Maintains accurate medical records, supports care coordination, and assists with patient inquiries across a wide range of needs. Works closely with providers and clinical staff to support efficient operations, continuity of care, and a positive patient experience, while adapting to the unique needs of a diverse patient population. Qualifications Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent required. Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? Licenses and Credentials: Certified Medical Administrative Assistant (CMAA) - Data Conversion - Various Issuers preferred. Experience: Office experience 2‑3 years required. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Proficiency with all Office Suite applications. Knowledge of office operations and standards, including filing, copying, scanning, printing and faxing. Ability to use phone system and manage non‑routine calls, solving routine issues as appropriate. Effective written communication suitable for the audience and clear verbal communication. Understanding of written sentences and paragraphs in work‑related documents, e.g., composing/editing emails, memos and letters, and taking complete and accurate messages. Time‑management skills to manage one’s own time and the time of others. Well‑organized and capable of managing multiple tasks effectively, following established protocols, and working within systems. Additional Job Details Department: Med Peds - Primary Care, Revere Community Health Center, 300 Ocean Ave, Revere MA. Schedule: Days, 40‑hour work week, Onsite. Work Location: 300 Ocean Avenue. Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40. Employee Type: Regular. Work Shift: Day (United States). Compensation Pay range: $17.71 - $24.94 per hour. The base pay starts at $20.00 per hour and may increase based on the candidate’s years of experience.
