Director of Facilities Operations

Location: Highland Springs by Erickson Senior Living Responsibilities Provide strategic leadership and oversight for Facilities Operations, ensuring the effective maintenance of buildings, grounds, roads, equipment, and infrastructure to support a safe, sanitary, secure, and welcoming environment for residents and staff. Direct the delivery of essential support services—including Transportation, Security, Reception, Communications, and Facility Services—to achieve exceptional service quality and resident satisfaction. Lead, develop, and mentor departmental leaders and team members, fostering a high‑performance culture through workforce planning, training, performance management, succession planning, and individualized development programs. Establish and execute departmental, community, and corporate goals and initiatives, implementing systems, processes, and performance measures that drive operational excellence and continuous improvement. Oversee departmental budgets and financial performance, ensuring sound fiscal management, cost‑effective operations, and achievement of established financial objectives. Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, Erickson Senior Living standards, and organizational policies while demonstrating strong technical expertise, leadership, and commitment to The Erickson Way. Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of experience in General Services / Facilities Operations. Minimum of 10‑hour OSHA training required within 1 year of hire. Demonstrated ability to initiate and implement maintenance plans that keep facilities safe and functional. Experience with CMMS is preferred. Valid driver’s license required if operating community vehicles. Knowledge of applicable state regulations and industry best practices. Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
