Technical Business Analyst

Technical Business Analyst Project Management/PMO SupportBlu Omega is seeking a Technical Business Analyst to support a federal health program focused on public health initiatives. This role operates within a hybrid environment and is responsible for translating business needs into technical requirements within an Agile delivery framework. The position requires experience supporting IT, data analytics, or technical delivery environments and supporting government health or public health programs.Key DetailsLocation: RemoteClearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust suitability determinationResponsibilitiesPartner with business users, Product Owners, and technical teams to elicit, analyze, document, and validate requirements.Translate business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, business rules, and technical specifications.Facilitate requirement-gathering sessions through stakeholder interviews, process reviews, use cases, and workflow analysis.Analyze existing systems and processes to identify gaps and automation opportunities.Develop recommendations to improve business processes and system functionality.Support Agile ceremonies, backlog refinement, and sprint planning.Manage requirements, user stories, backlog items, and defects using Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.Support User Acceptance Testing and validate solutions during deployment.Maintain organized requirements documentation and process flow diagrams.Required Qualifications3+ years of experience working directly with business system users to elicit and document requirements.Experience developing clear acceptance criteria with Product Owners.Experience within an Agile delivery framework and understanding of Agile principles and ceremonies.Experience using Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar tools for requirements management.Ability to analyze complex business processes and create process flow diagrams.Excellent stakeholder communication and facilitation skills.Bachelor's degree in business, information technology, data analytics, computer science, or a related field.Preferred QualificationsSupporting government health or federal programs.Experience as a backup Scrum Master or supporting Scrum Master duties.Knowledge of data structures, relational databases, and data governance principles.Professional certification such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, or Agile certification.CompensationSalary Range: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 Final compensation is based on technical skills, experience, education, certifications, and clearance.Blu Omega Benefits & PerksMedical, Dental, and Vision coverage through national providers401(k) with company match (eligible after 6 months; vesting applies)Company-paid Life and AD&D insurance with additional voluntary optionsShort-term disability (company-paid) and long-term disability optionsEmployee Assistance Program (EAP) with 24/7 confidential support and mental health resourcesTelehealth and virtual care options available through medical plansPet insurance, legal services, and identity theft protection optionsPaid Time Off (PTO) for eligible employeesPaid federal holidays for salaried employeesAccess to wellness programs, discounts, and lifestyle benefitsBenefits eligibility and offerings may vary based on role, employment status, and program requirementsCompany OverviewBlu Omega is a Woman-Owned Small Business delivering technology and cybersecurity solutions to federal agencies and enterprise clients nationwide.
