Senior Account Executive - Tableau, Public Sector

About This Role Our State & Local Government Sales Team is seeking talented, self‑directed sales professionals to join our rapidly growing team. As the fastest‑growing line of business within Salesforce, you will have a unique opportunity to shape the future by driving customer success and supporting the missions of our top Government accounts. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast‑paced, team sales environment and consistently delivers on revenue targets. Day to Day Our Enterprise Business team works with our most strategic customers—organizations of 10,000+ employees. You will work in a fast‑paced environment, receive personalized training, and have access to meaningful career development opportunities. Build positive, trusted relationships with key team members and C‑suite decision makers Develop opportunities through both warm leads and whitespace prospecting Drive customer satisfaction and develop key stakeholder relationships at assigned accounts Build and drive the overall long‑term account strategy, aligned to customer business objectives Coordinate internal Salesforce resources to meet customer business needs Perform account planning, coordinating with Prime and Cloud sales resources to ensure strategic alignment Share the Salesforce value proposition with existing and prospective customers Drive growth within an existing assigned account Preferred Qualifications 10+ years of full cycle sales experience, with at least 5 years in Enterprise Sales Proven management of large, complex key accounts Ability to strategize with a large extended team Experience evaluated on core competencies, including extracurricular leadership, military experience, volunteer roles, and work history Compensation In the United States, compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, job level, job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, and benefits. The typical base salary range for this position is $141,550 - $189,350 annually. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations. In California and New York, and select cities in the metropolitan areas of Boston, Chicago, Seattle, and Washington DC, the base pay range for this role in those locations is $155,700 - $208,300 per year. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process. The range represents base salary only and does not include company bonus, incentive for sales roles, equity or benefits, as applicable.
