Accounting Assistant

Temporary Billing And Reconciliation Support

Provides support in gathering, maintaining and sorting through all documentation requirements by customer request to compile and ensure timely and accurate billing and account reconciliation.

Position is temporary, up to six months with possibly to extend longer

Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks:

• Serves as key point of contact for billing, reconciliation and reporting.
• Establishes and maintains strong relationships with warehouse locations and customers.
• Daily processing of customer invoices.
• Collection of past due accounts.
• Assistance with month end transactions.
• Be able to evaluate and implement process improvements.
• Understand the transaction impacts to the general ledger.
• Regular attendance and punctuality are required.
• Operates safely in all conditions.
• Other duties and projects as assigned.
• Follows Jillamy policies and procedures.
• Excellent attention to detail and comprehensive computer skills

• 1-2 years accounts receivable experience and/or accounting degree preferred. Current students are welcome
• Have a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to organize, prioritize and work in a fast-paced team environment.
• Proficiency in MS Office, NetSuite or other Accounting and ERP systems preferred. Willing to train on NetSuite
• Willing to accept additional duties to aid the accounting department.
• Professional presence with the ability to diffuse difficult situations and problem solve effective solutions.
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
• Must be capable of working under tight time constraints in a high volume environment with multiple priorities.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be able to work flexible hours across all shifts, overtime, weekends, etc. based upon business operational demands.
• Possible hybrid schedule
