Opportunity Overview Dessert Holdings is looking for a Corporate Accountant to join our growing team at the HQ office in St. Paul, MN . We are seeking an eager accounting professional who will help drive operational excellence and act as an advocate for continued business performance and growth. This is not a remote position – we work onsite in the St. Paul office four days a week. The typical hiring range for this role is $70,000 to $80,000 annually, depending on education, experience, skills, certifications, and location. Key Responsibilities Assist in managing month‑end financial close activities, including preparing necessary journal entries and ensuring balance sheet reconciliations are completed each month. Perform cash management tasks, reconciliations, and reporting. Maintain fixed asset accounting, including recording newly acquired assets, depreciation, and disposition of assets. Ensure compliance with internal control policies and procedures. Coordinate with external auditors by providing necessary documentation and support to ensure timely completion of audit requests. Participate in the implementation or modification of company systems (ERP, HRIS, etc.) to ensure appropriate financial integrity, controls, and audit trails for transactions affecting financial results. Support business partners with meaningful financial accounting and reporting information to drive growth and profit improvement. Complete special projects as requested. Qualifications and Education Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 3+ years of relative accounting and financial analytical experience (consumer packaged goods experience is a plus). Strong working knowledge of Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and charts. Self‑driven and able to work with minimal supervision. Agility in learning new software, ability to manage multiple systems simultaneously; Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a plus. Superior analytical and problem‑solving skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills. Excellent time‑management and organizational skills to prioritize multiple projects while meeting deadlines. High level of flexibility in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.
