Communicate priorities, risks, decisions, and status clearly and proactively while escalating issues when appropriate. Accountabilities Execute and document defensible workflows for the collection, preservation, processing, transfer, loading, review support, and production of electronically stored information as requested by Legal. Ensure data subject to legal hold is appropriately preserved across relevant enterprise systems, collaboration platforms, cloud repositories, and archived data sources. Coordinate with Legal and Records and Information Management when legal holds are released to support defensible disposition of data not subject to other retention or preservation obligations. Configure, operate, and support eDiscovery and information governance tools, including Exterro, Relativity, Microsoft Purview, and related collection, review, analytics, reporting, and data transfer capabilities. Develop scripts, queries, and automation routines to streamline repetitive tasks, validate data, generate reports, reconcile collections, and improve quality control across the eDiscovery lifecycle. Partner with Legal Operations, Cybersecurity, Infrastructure, Records and Information Management, and application teams to identify data sources, resolve technical issues, and define scalable support models. Provide functional and technical support, training, and guidance to attorneys, paralegals, eDiscovery analysts, vendors, and internal partners. Analyze operational trends, recurring issues, service demand, and stakeholder feedback to recommend process improvements and technology enhancements. Model Takeda’s values and leadership behaviors through accountability, collaboration, integrity, continuous improvement, and customer‑focused delivery. Education, Behavioral Competencies and Skills – Required Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, digital forensics, legal technology, data governance, or a related discipline; equivalent experience may be considered. 3‑5 years of experience across eDiscovery, legal technology, information governance, IT operations, digital forensics, cloud platforms, or enterprise application support. Hands‑on knowledge of eDiscovery platforms and workflows, including Exterro, Relativity, Microsoft Purview, legal hold administration, data preservation, collection, processing, review support, and production. Working knowledge of scripting or automation languages such as PowerShell, Python, SQL, or similar tools to automate tasks, perform data validation, generate reports, and improve operational efficiency. Understanding of Microsoft 365, cloud repositories, collaboration platforms, enterprise archives, identity and access concepts, and defensible data handling practices. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and quality control skills with the ability to translate legal and business requirements into repeatable technical processes. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to legal, business, vendor, and DD&T stakeholders. Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, adapt to changing requirements, and operate effectively in a global, cross‑functional environment. Demonstrated professionalism, discretion, sound judgment, and commitment to continuous improvement, service quality, and team effectiveness. Education, Behavioral Competencies and Skills – Preferred Experience supporting eDiscovery, information governance, records management, or legal technology operations in a regulated life sciences or biopharmaceutical environment. Experience developing dashboards, operational metrics, or reporting that improves visibility into legal hold, collection, processing, production, service performance, or compliance activities.
