Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual in-home therapy sessions or group therapy sessions within our virtual outpatient center, providing tailored treatment plans based on client needs.

• Facilitate anger management sessions and develop coping strategies that effectively reduce high-risk behaviors such as self-injury or physical aggression.
\n
• Assist youth and their caretakers in enhancing decision-making skills to better manage behavioral challenges within the home environment.
\n
• Collaborate with the Child Family Treatment Team and other multidisciplinary professionals to create a comprehensive support network for clients and families.
\n
• Document all sessions and client progress, ensuring timely submission of intake, treatment plans, and progress notes as per organizational protocols.

• Participate in monthly meetings for professional development and submit insights and recommendations based on case experiences.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clientele encompasses a broad range of individuals, from children and adolescents to adults, all facing varying degrees of mental health challenges. As an LMFT, your primary focus will be on fostering a supportive therapeutic relationship with clients, encouraging open communication, and facilitating strategies that promote healing and wellness. You will engage with clients dealing with issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship conflict, and behavioral disturbances, making it essential to adapt your therapeutic techniques to suit individual needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Family Therapy, or a related field is required.

• Must possess an active and unrestricted LMFT license.

• Availability for a minimum of 5-10 hours per week, specifically during after-school hours from 4-7 PM.

• Experience in providing positive behavior support and other therapeutic modalities.
\n
• A valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle for potential in-home sessions.
\n
• Clear criminal background check, which includes fingerprinting.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of clinical experience in a mental health setting, particularly working with diverse populations.

• Demonstrated skills in crisis intervention and family dynamics.
