Shop Support Mechanic

How You'll Help Us Keep Climbing (Overview & Key Responsibilities) Summary Of Responsibilities (not Comprehensive Of All Tasks) Perform as a Shop Support Mechanic in the maintenance of Base and Line Maintenance support equipment. Must utilize appropriate equipment and material to accomplish all routine and non-routine maintenance functions on equipment, and parts of equipment. Inspect service, troubleshoot, repair, replace, complete POI on GSE, pickup/ delivery of equipment and overhaul all Base and Line Maintenance support equipment. Must be willing to work rotating or fixed shifts, rotating days off, accept indoor or outdoor work assignments, and be subject to overtime and travel. Practice safety conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures. What You Need To Succeed (Minimum Qualifications) Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data. Embraces a diverse set of people, thinking and styles. Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency. Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States. Must achieve a satisfactory score on assessments structured to determine the ability to perform essential job functions. Must be able to pass pre-employment screenings. Must have a valid driver's license. Must be able to read and write English and comprehend and apply information contained in technical manuals. Must be able to multi-task and work under pressure. (If transferring internally) Must be performing satisfactorily in present position. What Will Give You a Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications) Two-year degree in a related technical field and / or two years technical experience in a related field preferred. Strongly prefer Welding, Hydraulic, HVAC, Mechanical, Electrical experience and or certification.
