Production Operator

Cleanroom Production OperatorThe Cleanroom Production Operator works in an ISO Class 8 cleanroom manufacturing environment, assembling and inspecting medical device cartridges while following strict quality, safety, and documentation standards. This role involves working on a production line, operating semi-automated equipment, performing inspections, testing products, and completing production records. Operators rotate between different tasks, including assembly, machine operation, welding, testing, inspection, and packaging, while supporting other departments as needed.Key ResponsibilitiesAssemble medical device cartridges according to work instructions and SOPs.Operate and monitor semi-automated manufacturing equipment.Perform visual and functional inspections to ensure product quality.Complete and review batch records and production documentation accurately.Use computers for training, data entry, and production tracking.Follow GMP, cleanroom procedures, and safety requirements at all times.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.Assist with packaging and support other departments when required.Participate in cross-training and work across multiple production lines.Work overtime and flexible schedules based on production needs.RequirementsExperience in manufacturing, production, assembly, or other fast-paced work environments.Ability to follow detailed instructions and standard operating procedures.Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.Reliable attendance and punctuality.Comfortable using computers for documentation and training.Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.Good teamwork and communication skills.Mechanical aptitude or experience with assembly and machine operation.Willingness to be cross-trained and adapt to changing production needs.Preferred QualificationsCleanroom experience (ISO Class 8 or similar).Medical device manufacturing, inspection, or packaging experience.Experience with mechanical assembly, welding, or automated equipment.Knowledge of GMP and quality documentation practices.Ability to learn new tasks quickly and work in different departments.Work EnvironmentISO Class 8 cleanroom manufacturing facility.Required PPE includes hair cover, gloves, gown/lab coat, and other cleanroom attire.Strict hygiene standards with restrictions on fragrances, makeup, fake nails, shorts, and leggings.Work may involve moving between production lines and buildings.Standing for extended periods and working with medical device components is required.Schedule1st Shift: Monday-Thursday, 4:00 AM - 2:30 PM2nd Shift: Monday-Thursday, 3:00 PM - 1:30 AMOvertime may be required based on production demands.Why Join?Work for a stable and well-established company with a supportive, team-oriented culture.Opportunity to gain experience in medical device manufacturing.Cross-training and skill development opportunities.Consistent workload and long-term career growth potential.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of San Diego, CA.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
