Job Responsibilities

• Craft Customized Therapy Plans: Understand patients' aspirations and formulate tailored therapy programs to support their functional achievements
• Implement Therapeutic Approaches: Apply evidence-based methods to enhance both motor skills and cognitive abilities, as well as daily living activities
• Collaborate with Multi-Disciplinary Teams: Work in tandem with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nurses to deliver well-rounded, comprehensive care
• Guide Patients and Families: Provide education to patients and their caregivers about therapy approaches to support their progress at home
• Track and Adjust Treatment Progress: Document clinical results and modify treatment plans as necessary, ensuring patients stay aligned with their goals

Educational Requirements

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Commitment to continuing education or additional certifications is encouraged and supported

Licenses and Certifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is required
