About This Role The Nurse Manager Assistant at Hackensack Meridian Health is responsible for the delivery of clinical services and managing clinical and support staff. This role is ideal for individuals who are dedicated to improving patient care and have strong leadership skills. Highlights Location: Neptune, NJ Facility: Hackensack Meridian Health Schedule: Full-time, Day shift What You'll Do Manage clinical and support staff. Oversee daily operations to achieve best practice and organizational objectives. Implement the strategic plan and standards of care in accordance with regulatory requirements. Develop, coordinate, and integrate inter-disciplinary programs. Monitor performance standards and existing practices. Design new systems to improve organizational performance and staff competence. Ensure competence and collaborate with Medical Staff and Senior Management. Lead all performance improvement initiatives. Handle administrative duties such as scheduling, staffing, and payroll. Act as an extension of leadership during night shifts. Requirements Education: Associate in Nursing or diploma of Nursing degree required BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three (3) years of hire preferred Experience: Minimum 3 years recent nursing experience in respective specialty or equivalent required Prior clinical experience in an outpatient setting preferred Licenses & Certifications: NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License required AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification required National Certification acceptable to the Magnet Recognition Program preferred MSN preferred Supervisory or charge nurse experience preferred About Hackensack Meridian Health Hackensack Meridian Health is a leading healthcare provider committed to delivering exceptional patient care.
