Our ideal candidate is friendly, flexible, and ready to collaborate and work alongside other team members to serve customers quickly. Responsibilities include greeting guests, taking food orders, preparing food, and pouring drinks. Some customer service experience is preferred. If this sounds like a great opportunity, apply today! $12.00 - $15.00 hourly
Responsibilities:- Clean the restaurant thoroughly every day by clearing tables, returning trays to the kitchen, sweeping and mopping the floor, washing and sterilizing cooking items, and maintaining the restrooms
- Provide a warm greeting to customers upon their arrival, and direct them to a suitable table or ordering counter if necessary
- Cook alongside kitchen staff, take the necessary safety steps and adhere to sanitary standards
- Operate kitchen appliances like ice cream dispensers, blenders, and espresso machines to create hot and cold drinks
- Respond to complaints and issues from customers in a polite and professional manner in accordance with restaurant policy
- Prior food service industry experience is highly desired
- Displays impeccable time management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with customers and other team members
- This role requires a strong emphasis on putting the guest first and providing exceptional customer service
Big Dave's Cheesesteaks is a fast-growing restaurant chain featuring West Philly-style cheesesteaks and signature cheesesteak egg rolls. Founded by West Philly native Derrick Hayes. Opening in 2016 out of a 700-square-foot gas station in Atlanta, GA, Big Dave's has grown to multiple locations. The Queen City marks the first restaurant in North Carolina.
