Work Environment\n

This position offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, making it easier for you to balance your professional responsibilities with personal life considerations. The role operates primarily Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM. As part of the Harbor Crest team, you will actively engage with clients both online and in the community, delivering essential mental health services tailored to the unique needs of our clientele.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide clinical support to clients with major mental health challenges and severe emotional disorders through both virtual consultations and in-person meetings.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to set and achieve shared goals, ensuring that all voices are heard and valued within the treatment process.

• Conduct comprehensive client assessments, utilizing evidence-based tools and methodologies to determine the appropriate care pathways.
\n
• Design and implement individualized care plans aimed at addressing clients' immediate concerns, while also supporting their long-term mental health goals.

• Carry a diverse caseload that includes individual, group, and family therapy sessions, ensuring responsiveness to the specific needs and requests of clients.

• Participate actively in crisis intervention, providing timely support during emergencies and ensuring client safety.
\n
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes, meeting all professional standards and organizational requirements.

• Engage with clients' families and external providers to facilitate comprehensive care coordination and ensure that all support systems are active and effective.

• Take part in quality improvement initiatives and committees to enhance agency services and improve healthcare delivery.

Your work will largely impact individuals from diverse backgrounds in San Diego, who may experience barriers to accessing quality mental health services. By employing a culturally competent approach, you will address the unique needs of various client demographics, including low-income individuals, people with trauma histories, and those experiencing serious mental illness.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) or an equivalent qualification from an accredited institution.

• Active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California.
\n
• Thorough knowledge of mental health assessment, diagnosis, and treatment methodologies, alongside expertise in risk assessment and crisis management.
\n
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to convey complex information in a clear and compassionate manner.
\n
• Proven organizational skills to effectively manage a varied caseload while maintaining attention to detail in treatment documentation.
\n
• Experience with evidence-based practices, and a commitment to continuous professional development.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience is preferred, showcasing a history of success in mental health settings.

• Bilingual capabilities (English/Spanish) are highly preferred, allowing for improved service delivery to a broader client base.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 85,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
