Description The Project Executive - Commercial Drywall - Alexandria, VA will be responsible for: Lead the successful execution of multiple commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, cultivating long-term relationships and ensuring exceptional project delivery. Support business development initiatives by identifying opportunities, generating leads, and helping secure new projects. Provide leadership and mentorship to project managers, superintendents, and field teams. Oversee project schedules, operational performance, and resource allocation to ensure successful outcomes. Monitor project budgets, forecasting, profitability, and overall financial health. Collaborate with executive leadership to expand the company's presence throughout the Southern Virginia market. Conduct regular visits to active project sites across the Richmond and Norfolk regions. Foster a culture of accountability, safety, teamwork, and operational excellence. Drive client satisfaction and support the continued growth of the business. Profile A successful Project Executive - Commercial Drywall - Alexandria, VA should have: 10+ years of experience in commercial construction project management, operations, or executive leadership roles. Previous experience as a Senior Project Manager, Project Executive, Operations Manager, or similar leadership position. Strong commercial construction background with experience overseeing multiple concurrent projects. Drywall, interior systems, specialty contracting, or related trade experience strongly preferred. Proven ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships. Experience managing project financials, budgets, forecasting, and profitability. Demonstrated leadership experience managing project teams and field personnel. Business development experience and an ability to help grow market share is highly desirable. Proficiency with Procore and Microsoft Office Suite. OSHA certifications or safety training are considered a plus. Ability to be based in the Fredericksburg, VA area and travel to project sites as needed.
