Description - What You'll Do

• Conduct routine and specialized clinical laboratory analyses-ranging from chemistry to hematology and immunology-following established protocols.
• Evaluate test results for precision, address discrepancies, and perform necessary maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Assist with the collection of specimens and prepare samples for further testing as the situation demands.
• Maintain thorough documentation of all processes, provide training for new employees and students, and assist in sustaining lab quality standards.
• Uphold a clean and secure workspace while adhering to relevant regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or a related allied health discipline plus preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• Obtain ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within one year of employment.
• Maintain active certification throughout your tenure with us.
