About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated and professional Licensed Sales Agent to join our client's team in Chesterfield, VA. This position is ideal for someone who is driven, customer-focused, and eager to grow within the insurance industry. The right candidate will excel at building relationships, delivering exceptional service, and meeting established sales goals.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM

Pay Rate: $50,000/year (based on experience) + 50% commission on new business, bonuses, commissions & full benefits

Location: On site | Chesterfield, VA 23832

Licensed P&C Sales Agent Job Responsibilities:

• Developing insurance quotes, delivering sales presentations, and closing new business.
• Growing a strong pipeline through telephone prospecting, referrals, and networking with external centers of influence.
• Responding to client inquiries, resolving concerns, or directing issues to the appropriate resource.
• Following up with clients to ensure satisfaction and maintain long-term relationships.
• Building strong rapport from a cold start with both prospective and existing clients.
• Meeting or exceeding business production goals and targets set by management.
• Eventually being comfortable with public speaking, representing the agency at events or presenting to small groups when needed.

Licensed P&C Sales Agent Job Requirements:

• Active Property & Casualty License required; Life License is a plus.
• 1+ years of Insurance Sales experience (independent agency experience strongly preferred).
• Strong computer and technology proficiency.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Professional demeanor in all interactions—phone, email, and in-person.
