Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of clients to understand their mental health status and formulate individualized treatment plans.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to clients, including individual therapy sessions, group therapy, couples therapy, and family therapy.

• Employ a variety of therapeutic techniques tailored to client needs, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team—including social workers, psychiatrists, and case managers—to ensure comprehensive client care and holistic treatment outcomes.

• Maintain meticulous records of client progress and therapy sessions while adhering to confidentiality and best practices in mental health documentation.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse range of clients, including individuals facing issues such as depression, anxiety, trauma, substance abuse, and eating disorders. Understanding and accommodating the unique needs of each client is essential to provide tailored therapy and achieve the best possible outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field.

• An active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of New Jersey.

• A minimum of two years of clinical counseling experience is mandatory, demonstrating competence in therapeutic practices.

Compensation and Benefits\n
