Contract Conformance Specialist IV:On behalf of our Oil & Gas client, Procom is searching for a Contract Conformance Specialist IV for a contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Houston office. Contract Conformance Specialist IV - Job Description:This role involves supporting supplier contracting by drafting, reviewing, redlining, negotiating, and finalizing agreements using approved templates and legal positions. The Specialist collaborates with various stakeholders to ensure consistent, risk-informed, compliant, and efficient contracting outcomes. Contract Conformance Specialist IV - Responsibilities:• Draft, review, revise, and negotiate Master Purchasing Agreements and redlined PO Terms & Conditions. • Review supplier redlines and prepare practical, risk-informed responses. • Negotiate legal terms within defined risk parameters and escalate as needed. • Coordinate input from various stakeholders to resolve contract issues. • Document business decisions, negotiation rationale, and contract records. • Identify contracting issues and opportunities for process improvements. • Promote consistent application of approved contract language and best practices. Contract Conformance Specialist IV - Mandatory Skills:• Minimum of six years of experience in supply chain, contract management, or related fields. • Strong understanding of contracting principles, including indemnity and limitation of liability. • Superior written and verbal communication skills. • Strong judgment, attention to detail, and organization skills. • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Teams, Adobe, and enterprise systems like Oracle. Contract Conformance Specialist IV – Nice-to-Have Skills:• Contract management certification from recognized organizations. • Experience in contract drafting for construction and engineering contracts.
