Intrastaff On-call Staffing Coordinator [Remote]

Position Summary:

Collaborate with Managers and other staff members of the office regarding the after-hours operations of the organization. Primarily responsible for coordination of temporary personnel in the staffing process within JHMI. Coordinate staffing requests for Johns Hopkins Health System Affiliates. Serve as liaison, after hours, with outside temporary agencies. Participate in development, implementation, and update of policy and procedures, staffing and recruitment strategy development. Support the organization’s mission and strategic goals.

Education

Requires a minimum of an Associate’s degree. Experience beyond the work experience requirement may be substituted for the degree on 2 years of experience for 1 year of education basis (i.e., 4 years).

Knowledge

Requires general knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite programs, some knowledge of staffing processes, and general knowledge about the different roles within healthcare.

Skills

• Highly effective verbal communication and interpersonal skills required to interact with diverse groups of people internal and external to Johns Hopkins Medicine.
• Analytical ability required to assign appropriate temporary staff as needed, to effectively respond to cancellations and schedule changes, and to react to routine and non-routine situations that may arise.
• Strong organizational skills required to coordinate the assignment of appropriate temporary staff as needed, to promptly and effectively respond to cancellations and schedule changes, and to react to routine and non-routine situations that may arise.

Work Experience

Position requires a minimum of two years of recruitment/interviewing/placement of personnel experience with equal comprehension of human resource policy and procedures/ or work in an industry with transferable skills.

Salary Range: $20.52/hour - $33.88/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
