As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor entry points, verify access credentials, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, support visitor and delivery procedures, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $22.20 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or delivery drivers while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor and control access at entry points, verify visitor and driver credentials, and maintain accurate access records for the logistics and distribution location.
• Coordinate the entry and exit of delivery vehicles, contractors, and personnel in accordance with site policies and designated traffic procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, and the facility perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
