As an Access Control Officer at a retail distribution location, you will help manage entry and exit activity, verify access credentials, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. This driving post requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. Deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and associates by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor and control access at assigned entry points, verify credentials and visitor documentation, and maintain accurate access-related records.
• Screen incoming and outgoing vehicles, deliveries, and personnel in accordance with established distribution center procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including the facility perimeter and parking areas, to identify and report security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
