CAD Coordinator (Civil/Survey)

What You'll Do
- Own all aspects of CAD-driven plan preparation and production, from initial setup through final deliverables
- Establish, refine, and expand internal CAD standards to drive consistency, efficiency, and accuracy across projects
- Develop and implement CAD and software policies, procedures, and best practices firm-wide
- Manage and maintain AutoCAD styles, templates, and databases, keeping them current and optimized
- Serve as the go-to technical resource for software support and troubleshooting across project teams
- Review base models, surfaces, and drawings to identify and resolve discrepancies before they become problems
- Train and mentor staff at all levels, building technical proficiency in CAD and related software
- Coordinate with external CAD consultants to ensure alignment with firm standards and project requirements
- Enforce quality control processes that uphold precision, consistency, and compliance across all deliverables
- Contribute your expertise across a diverse portfolio of civil engineering and land surveying projects
- 10+ years of professional experience in Civil or Survey disciplines
- Expert-level proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Experience with MicroStation, Trimble Business Center, Cyclone, or Revit is a strong plus
- Degree or technical school education in a Civil/Survey-related field preferred
- Highly organized, goal-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
- Motivated, collaborative, and eager to adopt new technologies
- A natural problem-solver with strong communication and teamwork skills
