Accounts Payable And Accounts Receivable Specialist

Touchstone Mental Health is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our Finance team. This position is primarily responsible for accounts payable functions while supporting accounts receivable activities and maintaining accurate financial records. The role plays an important part in supporting organizational operations and advancing Touchstone's mission.

Pay Range: $24.00 to $27.00 an hour

Location: Minneapolis (Seward neighborhood)

Schedule: full-time position with benefits (must work onsite 4 days a week)

Accounts Payable

• Process and code vendor invoices.
• Verify invoices and supporting documentation.
• Prepare vendor payments and employee reimbursements.
• Process and reconcile petty cash.
• Maintain vendor records and resolve discrepancies.
• Support month-end close and accounts payable reconciliations.

Accounts Receivable

• Process cash receipts, lockbox transactions, and bank deposits.
• Reconcile payments and maintain payment records.
• Monitor outstanding balances and assist with collections.
• Support donation processing and reconciliation with the Development team.
• Respond to customer and donor payment inquiries.

General Accounting Support

• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
• Assist with reconciliations, reporting, and audits.
• Provide customer service and support Finance projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented, organized, and experienced in accounts payable and accounts receivable functions within a nonprofit organization.
• Experience with Sage accounting software strongly preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with program leaders and employees across the organization.
