Associate Attorney - Litigation

Job Overview A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney to join its litigation team in Metairie, LA. This role involves representing financial institutions in various legal proceedings and requires a proactive approach to managing case workflows and client interactions. Duties Represent financial institutions in foreclosure, bankruptcy, and related court proceedings. Manage case workflow and ensure compliance with legal and client requirements. Draft and review legal documents including motions and pleadings. Attend court hearings both in-person and virtually. Collaborate with support staff to provide client-focused legal services. Requirements Licensed to practice law in Louisiana (required). 3+ years of litigation experience preferred. Strong legal writing, communication, and analytical skills. Detail-oriented and organized. Preferred Preferred: Multi-state licensure, bankruptcy or collections experience, federal licensure. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications Licensed to practice law in Louisiana. Skills Strong legal writing and communication skills. Analytical and detail-oriented. Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
