Position Summary

As a Line Cook at Mimi Garden, you will play a key role in preparing high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment. This salaried position offers stability and growth opportunities, while giving you the chance to work with fresh ingredients and contribute to a dynamic, collaborative kitchen.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with Mimi Garden recipes and quality standards.
• Set up, stock, and maintain your station with all necessary supplies.
• Cook and manage orders on the sauté and hot line stations in a timely and efficient manner.
• Maintain impeccable cleanliness and organization of your workstation at all times.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations in compliance with California law.
• Work collaboratively with kitchen teammates, servers, and management to ensure seamless service.
• Assist with receiving, stocking, and rotating supplies and ingredients.
• Participate in menu testing, seasonal specials, and new recipe development as requested.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of professional cooking experience in a high-volume restaurant or similar environment.
• Strong technical skills, including knife handling and knowledge of cooking techniques.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining consistency and quality.
• Familiarity with food safety and sanitation procedures (ServSafe certification preferred).
• Team-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills.
• Passion for Chinese cuisine and hospitality a plus.
