Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to devise individualized therapy strategies tailored to each client’s unique needs.

• Provide short-term and long-term therapeutic interventions, utilizing evidence-supported modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused strategies.

• Facilitate therapy sessions for individuals, couples, families, and groups, inspiring hope and promoting emotional resilience.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals, to deliver comprehensive client care.

• Maintain meticulous, confidential clinical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring quality care and accountability.

• Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops and training sessions to enhance clinical skills and remain informed about advancements in mental health research.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position focuses on serving a diverse client population, primarily consisting of individuals and families facing mental health challenges often exacerbated by limited access to care. Counselors will work with clients dealing with conditions such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Your role will directly contribute to improving clients' quality of life and emotional stability.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.

• Valid and active licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Connecticut without restrictions.

Compensation and Benefits\n

• Annual salary range of USD 70,000 to 90,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Your caseload will be adjusted based on individual capabilities and availability.
