Key Responsibilities\n

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Providing direct clinical services to students, including assessment, individual therapy, group therapy, and family therapy, tailored to their specific mental health needs.

• Conducting brief, evidence-based screening tools and arranging for comprehensive assessments when required.
\n
• Creating and implementing individualized care plans that integrate access to vital resources and linked services.
\n
• Engaging actively in interdisciplinary team meetings to coordinate care and enhance treatment outcomes for students.

• Monitoring client progress and adjusting treatment plans based on the evolving needs of clients.
\n
• Documenting client interventions, treatment plans, and outcomes in line with organizational and legal standards.
\n
• Providing crisis intervention as necessary, ensuring the safety and well-being of students during emergencies.

• Participating in community outreach initiatives to promote mental health awareness and resources available to students and families.

• Carrying a manageable caseload while maintaining frequent communication with clients, families, and other stakeholders.

• Ensuring timely completion of reports and administrative tasks required for effective coordination of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily serve students from diverse backgrounds who are experiencing symptoms of major mental illness or severe emotional disturbances. Your ability to establish rapport and trust with young individuals and their families will be vital in fostering a supportive therapeutic environment. You will adapt your approach based on varying cultural traditions, beliefs, and methods of communication to ensure inclusivity in treatment.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or a related field is required; a Master’s degree is preferred.

• A valid and active LCSW license in the State of Kansas.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience providing clinical social work services, preferably within a school or educational setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n
