Accounting Manager - Real Estate

Responsibilities Lead the monthly close process, including account and cash reconciliations Prepare and review monthly financial packages for joint venture partners Review financial statements for select in-house managed properties Analyze monthly variances across properties Support annual budgeting for assigned properties Review lease agreements to ensure accurate setup and tracking in accounting systems Oversee joint venture reporting and tenant recovery analysis Maintain compliance with SOX controls and internal documentation Partner with Property Managers to support audits and documentation requests Contribute to ad-hoc projects and support Asset Management as needed Qualifications Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting 5+ years of progressive accounting experience Experience in a multi-entity or multi-property environment required Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable managing multiple deadlines Strong communicator who works well cross-functionally Compensation & Disclosures Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual\'s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
