Location: Stuart, Florida / Treasure Coast
Employment Type: Full-Time
Travel: Must be willing to travel throughout Palm Beach, Broward, and Miami-Dade Counties
Experience Required: 5+ years of commercial construction experience

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Superintendent to join our team and oversee commercial construction projects throughout South Florida. This is a full-time position based in the Treasure Coast , with regular travel to projects in Palm Beach, Broward, and Miami-Dade Counties .

The ideal candidate is a hands-on, highly organized construction professional who can effectively manage subcontractors, coordinate daily field operations, maintain project schedules, and ensure that work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage day-to-day field operations on commercial construction projects.
• Coordinate and oversee subcontractors, vendors, and jobsite personnel.
• Maintain project schedules and ensure milestones are met.
• Conduct daily jobsite inspections and monitor progress.
• Ensure all work is performed in accordance with plans, specifications, and applicable building codes.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized jobsite.
• Coordinate inspections, deliveries, and subcontractor activities.
• Identify and resolve field issues and conflicts in a timely manner.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, subcontractors, owners, inspectors, and other project stakeholders.
• Review plans, drawings, and specifications and identify potential issues before they impact the project.
• Maintain daily reports, schedules, documentation, and other required project records.
• Monitor workmanship and quality control throughout construction.
• Help ensure projects are completed on time and within established budgets.
• Travel to project sites throughout the Treasure Coast, Palm Beach, Broward, and Miami-Dade areas.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of commercial construction superintendent experience.
• Strong knowledge of commercial construction methods, scheduling, and jobsite operations.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and specifications.
• Proven ability to manage subcontractors and multiple trades.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to identify problems and develop practical solutions in the field.
• Strong understanding of jobsite safety and OSHA requirements.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining strong communication with the project management team.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Must be willing and able to travel to project sites in Palm Beach, Broward, and Miami-Dade Counties.
