As a Full-Time Physical Therapist, you will work onsite in our well-equipped Rehabilitation Center in The Villages, Florida. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients, including reviewing medical histories, performing specific assessments, and documenting results to formulate individualized treatment plans.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families by explaining evaluation findings and treatment strategies, actively involving them in setting achievable rehabilitation goals.
• Implement evidence-based treatment protocols tailored to individual patient needs while staying attuned to changes in patient condition that may require adjustments in the plan of care.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physician referrals and consultations for complex cases, to ensure comprehensive patient management.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress, treatment changes, and discharge plans, complying with all healthcare regulations and organizational standards.
• Demonstrate effective time management skills by maintaining an organized schedule, meeting productivity expectations, and being punctual for client sessions and team meetings.
• Participate in the development and execution of departmental goals while engaging in community outreach and marketing initiatives to promote the center's services.
• Continuously seek professional development opportunities and assist in mentoring students or new therapists, contributing to a culture of growth and education.
• Ensure excellent customer service by being flexible and responsive to patients' needs, promoting a positive experience at every interaction.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse range of patients in our Rehabilitation Center, including individuals recovering from surgery, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. The therapies provided will be aimed at enhancing mobility, strengthening functional capabilities, and improving overall quality of life. Your role will directly impact our patients by helping them achieve their personal rehabilitation goals through tailored treatment approaches.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy.
• A minimum of two years of relevant physical therapy experience.
• A valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-focused mindset.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in outpatient settings is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems to facilitate documentation and patient tracking.
• Previous involvement in community health outreach programs or patient education initiatives is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

The Full-Time Physical Therapist position offers a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package.
