Motion Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full-Time Pediatric Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team in Islip, New York. Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations for children to assess their physical abilities and needs.
• Create and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's specific requirements and goals.
• Regularly reassess patients to monitor progress, adjusting treatment strategies as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Document all evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes utilizing our electronic health record system, adhering to set timelines.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment procedures, recovery processes, and potential challenges to foster understanding and cooperation.
• Achieve minimum utilization goals and other defined business objectives while maintaining high-quality patient care.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues from other disciplines to ensure a holistic approach for clients receiving multiple services.
• Maintain the highest standards of professional practice, embodying the organization's core values and serving as an ambassador for Motion Physical Therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Pediatric Physical Therapist at Motion Physical Therapy, you will engage with a diverse clientele, predominantly children, from various backgrounds and with varying needs. The role will have you providing care for children with developmental delays, injuries, or other physical challenges, always aiming for tailored interventions that cater to their unique circumstances.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from a CAPTE-accredited physical therapy program is required.
• Current and unrestricted licensure to practice physical therapy in New York State.
• A willingness to conduct evaluations and treatment sessions both in-person and via telehealth as clinically appropriate.
• A strong passion for working with children from varying backgrounds and cultures.
• Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability, essential in the evolving healthcare landscape.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
