Accounting Specialist - Growing Hospitality Organization in Dedham, MA We’re partnering with a private hospitality organization seeking an Accounting Specialist to support day-to-day accounting operations in a fast-paced, member-focused environment. This is a highly visible role that works closely with leadership and plays a key part in keeping financial processes organized, accurate, and running smoothly. Responsibilities Processing accounts payable invoices and employee reimbursements Managing weekly cash requirements, check runs, and payment posting Handling member billing, dues, fees, and assessments Maintaining member billing profiles and responding to billing inquiries Tracking Pro Shop sales, professional lessons, and event activity Auditing restaurant and retail POS systems and maintaining item codes Processing general ledger transfers and adjustments Supporting month-end and year-end procedures within the management system Assisting leadership with reporting and special projects as needed Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field, or equivalent professional experience 15+ years of accounting experience, preferably within a club, hospitality, or service-based environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office and computerized accounts payable systems The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable managing multiple priorities at once. Experience with AP, member billing, reconciliations, and POS systems is highly preferred.
