Territory Manager Last Mile

Job Summary The role of the Territory Manager is to define, develop and manage operations and customer support programs to support and meet Pilot Last Miles mission and goals for service quality, customer satisfaction and profitability. This position involves managing multiple locations and overseeing personnel across those locations. Essential Functions Coordinate flow of communication between Haulers/Delivery Teams/Flatbed Drivers, Call Center and Local Client Management Teams. Provide on-site presence on a daily, weekly, or bi‑weekly basis to ensure Haulers/Delivery Teams follow procedures. Oversee recruiting, processing, and performance management of Haulers. Develop and maintain relations with vendors. Follow up on shipping discrepancies, damaged goods and in‑home damage claims. Interface with end customers to ensure effective in‑home delivery. Maintain monthly operation reports that include statistics and customer service scores. Perform other duties as assigned. Skills & Competencies Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent mathematical skills, with the ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to analyze technical and scientific journals as they pertain to the business and market. Strong problem‑solving and reasoning abilities to deal with a variety of problems and develop creative solutions.
