Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations and psychosocial assessments to identify the unique needs of senior clients.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that align with each client's goals and circumstances, ensuring to promote their emotional and psychological well-being.

• Collaborate with family members, caregivers, and healthcare professionals to coordinate support services that address the holistic needs of our seniors.

• Provide crisis intervention and ongoing counseling to clients experiencing mental health challenges, offering a compassionate ear and strategies for coping.

• Stay updated on and comply with all relevant Federal and State regulations, as well as best practices for social work.

• Regularly monitor client progress and outcomes, adjusting interventions as necessary for maximum impact.

• Foster trusting relationships with seniors and their families to create a safe and open environment conducive to healing.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role is on senior clients, many of whom may be dealing with age-related mental health issues, such as depression, anxiety, grief, and other challenges related to aging. You will be instrumental in helping seniors navigate these obstacles, providing both individual and family counseling, which plays a vital role in improving client outcomes and overall community health.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) or a related field is required.

• Active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Florida.

• Demonstrated expertise in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning for diverse populations, particularly seniors and their families.

• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, enabling you to effectively advocate for your clients while managing multiple cases.

• Strong competency in crisis management and intervention strategies.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience as a social worker, with a focus on geriatric populations preferred.

• Experience in outpatient mental health settings, particularly those specializing in senior care.
