Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorders in clients, employing evidence-based assessment tools and techniques.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that align with clients’ goals, preferences, and therapeutic needs, ensuring a client-centered approach.

• Utilize a range of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other modalities relevant to marriage and family therapy.

• Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, treatment options, coping strategies, and self-care techniques to enhance their understanding and management of their conditions.

• Continuously monitor client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary and documenting relevant changes in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care for clients, discussing treatment options and strategies during case consultations and team meetings.

• Advocate for clients’ mental health needs, including supporting efforts to reduce stigma associated with mental illness and ensuring their access to appropriate resources.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of recent developments in mental health and therapy practices to improve service delivery and treatment efficacy.

• Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities, contributing to your growth as a practitioner and enhancing your skills in addiction counseling and family therapy.

This role primarily focuses on clients experiencing difficulties with relationships, including those dealing with divorce, family conflicts, and various mood disorders. Your expertise will play a vital role in helping individuals and families navigate these challenges, establish healthy communication patterns, and achieve improved emotional well-being.

Qualifications\n

• Current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.

• A Master’s or Doctorate degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is essential.

Compensation and Benefits\n
