Start Date: 09/21/2026

End Date/Duration: 12/19/2026

Shift: 8-Hour Days (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM), no call, no weekends

Hours/Week: Approximately 40 hours

Employment Type: Part-Time

Licensure: Current LA PT License

Experience: 1+ years in specialty care

Hourly Pay Rate: $60.30

What You'll Do

Manage a diverse caseload of patients, including spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries, strokes, amputees, and medically complex patients
Provide outpatient orthopedic, sports medicine, pediatric, and neuro-specific therapy
Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans
Use electronic medical records (EPIC, Meditech Expanse, Wellsky) for documentation
Participate in departmental and hospital orientation to ensure seamless integration
Support patients through therapy focusing on mobility, recovery, and functional independence
Adhere to safety protocols and state licensing requirements

What You Need

Required:

Current Louisiana PT license
1+ years contemporary experience in patient care
Basic skills in managing a case load independently
Knowledge of EMR systems (EPIC, Meditech Expanse, Wellsky)
Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team

Preferred:

Past experience in inpatient rehab, acute care, or outpatient settings
Additional certifications (BLS, ACLS, NIHSS)

About the Assignment This part-time Physical Therapy position is based at a reputable healthcare facility in Shreveport, LA. The role involves outpatient, inpatient, and skilled nursing care across a variety of patient diagnoses, including orthopedic, neuro, and trauma cases. You will contribute to patient recovery and improve quality of life within a dynamic team environment, with scheduled hours perfectly suited for work-life balance.
