Shipping Supervisor

Shipping Supervisor Florence, AL Arcadian Services is now hiring a Shipping Supervisor in our Florence, Alabama location. We are seeking a dependable and motivated Shipping Supervisor to oversee daily shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations. This role is responsible for supervising a small team, managing inventory movement, and ensuring materials are handled safely and accurately. What we can offer YOU Pay: $20-$24 per hour, offer dependent on experience 401(k) with company contribution Health Care Monetary Bonus Life Insurance Long Term Disability Paid Holidays & PTO Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Minimum 2 years of warehouse experience/shipping/receiving experience preferred 2+ years of forklift experience required Experience in handling hazardous materials is a plus Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and Excel CDL is a plus Ability to work overtime as needed Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 75 pounds occasionally Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, and move throughout warehouse environment Comfortable operating warehouse equipment and working in a fast-paced setting Key Responsibilities Supervise and support a team of 2-3 employees Coordinate shipping, receiving, and material transfers between facilities Prepare orders for shipment and ensure accurate documentation Verify incoming materials against purchase orders and bills of lading Work with freight carriers to schedule shipments and obtain freight rates Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and safety standards Assist with inventory counts and warehouse transfers Train employees and provide feedback Ensure compliance with company safety and environmental policies Communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and internal teams #J-18808-Ljbffr Workstream
