Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments and interviews with clients to gather comprehensive mental, behavioral, and emotional health histories.

• Document case details systematically from the outset, tracking progress and changes throughout the treatment process.
\n
• Develop individualized and evidence-based treatment plans in collaboration with clients, ensuring tailored interventions for each unique situation.
\n
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, using therapeutic modalities appropriate for diverse client needs.
\n
• Monitor client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary, and documenting all changes and outcomes.
\n
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team comprising psychiatrists, primary care physicians, and other mental health professionals to optimize client care.

• Conduct follow-up consultations for clients who may need additional support or have been hospitalized.
\n
• Educate and support family members to help them understand mental health challenges and promote effective strategies for assistance.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses on a diverse range of clients experiencing various mental health issues, including anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, and relationship conflicts. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in Washington State.

• Successful completion of the National Counselor Exam (NCE) or the National Clinical Mental Health Counselor Examination (NCMHCE).
\n
• Strong background and previous experience in mental health counseling.
\n
• Excellent proficiency with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, particularly AVATAR or similar platforms.
\n
• Knowledge of the impact of physical health issues and substance use disorders on mental health.
\n
• Understanding of the best practices as recommended by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).
\n
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, along with strong interpersonal abilities to build rapport with clients.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in group therapy settings, demonstrating effectiveness in leading group sessions.
\n
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care approaches.

• Proven track record of working collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary environment.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this full-time position falls within the competitive annual salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000.
