Accounts Payable SpecialistAmphenol Times Fiber Communications is looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Finance team in Meriden, Connecticut. This is a great opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment where accuracy and strong partnerships matter.Responsibilities:Process, code, verify, and enter vendor invoicesPrepare electronic payments and checksReconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepanciesRespond to vendor inquiries and maintain strong vendor relationshipsProcess employee expense reportsSupport month-end and year-end close activitiesAssist with account reconciliations, journal entries, reporting, and auditsHelp ensure compliance with accounting policies and proceduresWhat we're looking for:Previous accounts payable, bookkeeping, or finance experience preferredAssociate's or bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferredStrong Excel skills and experience with accounting/ERP systemsExcellent attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skillsAbility to prioritize, meet deadlines, and communicate effectively across the businessProactive self-starter with a proven ability to quickly master new skills and toolsIf you're looking to grow your accounting career with an established manufacturing organization, we'd love to hear from you.
